Before we arrive
Please Prepare Your Space
These simple steps help us work safely, efficiently, and keep your service running smoothly.
- 1
Choose your location
Have a general idea of where you'd like your television mounted. If you're unsure about exact placement or height, the technician can review placement before installation.
- 2
Clear the area
Move furniture, decorations, toys and objects away from the installation area where reasonably possible.
- 3
Have your TV accessible
Have the television accessible. If it's still boxed, make sure the box can be easily reached.
- 4
Have your mount ready
If you're providing your own mount, have it available with its included hardware. If HTV is providing the mount, it should be arranged with the service.
- 5
Think about your wires
Consider whether you prefer visible cords, cord covers or applicable concealment options.
Additional Charges May Apply
Additional services, preparation, materials, or work outside the originally agreed scope may result in an additional charge depending on the work required. Any additional work will be discussed with you before proceeding.
Examples may include:
- Specialty wall surfaces
- Additional mounting hardware
- Moving heavy furniture
- Additional wire management
- Electrical or outlet work
- Additional devices or services
Important to Know
- Wall material affects installation.
- Mounting height should be confirmed before work begins.
- Specialty walls such as brick, stone or tile may require different hardware or work.
- Wire-concealment options depend on wall and electrical conditions.
